¿Eres mujer y te gusta el cine de horror/terror? ¿Tienes textos, artículos o ensayos inéditos sobre películas, personajes o temas de este género?

Con el objetivo de impulsar los estudios cinematográficos del horror y su vinculación con los estudios de género, MACABRO Festival de Horror en Cine y Video y SAMSARA EDITORIAL te dan la oportunidad de formar parte de los 13 ensayos que conformarán una antología sobre la perspectiva femenina del cine de horror. Solamente tienes que seguir las siguientes bases:

1. Podrán participar únicamente personas del sexo femenino de cualquier país. Cada postulante podrá enviar dos textos como máximo.

2. Los textos enviados deberán tener una extensión de diez cuartillas como máximo y tres como mínimo. Se aceptarán textos escritos en idiomas español e inglés.

Los textos deben presentarse con las siguientes distinciones:

• Fuente Times New Roman 12 pts. (de preferencia)

• Interlineado a espacio y medio

• Sin notas a pie de página, en dado caso son preferibles las acotaciones parentéticas.

• Referencias parentéticas y bibliografía consultada al final del texto:

i.e. Válvula de seguridad para los impulsos irracionales (Jameson, 232)

Jameson, Fredric Late Marxism: Adorno or the Persistence of Dialectic, Nueva York: Verso, 1990.

• Subrayado para títulos y subtítulos

• Cursiva para citas de otras obras

3. Todos los textos deberán enviarse por correo electrónico (formato Word.rtf). El cuerpo del mail debe contener los siguientes datos:

a) Titulo del texto

b) Nombre de la autora y semblanza biográfica breve

c) Nacionalidad

d) Edad

e) Dirección, e-mail y teléfono

f) Copia escaneada de identificación oficial en baja resolución.

4. Los textos deberán estar acompañados de una autorización al Festival Macabro y Samsara Editorial para su publicación en la mencionada antología.

5. La dirección electrónica para envío de los textos es: concurso.fatales@gmail.com

6. El plazo de recepción de textos queda abierto hasta el 31 de agosto. Los ganadores serán anunciados en los sitios de internet del Festival Macabro y de Samsara Editorial.

7. Los 13 ensayos que formarán parte de la antología serán elegidos por miembros del Festival Macabro y Samsara Editorial, los cuales se reservan el derecho de declarar desierto el concurso.

8. El premio consiste en la publicación del texto en la Antología.

9. La antología será publicada bajo el cuidado de Samsara Editorial y el Festival Macabro con un título y en fecha aún por definir.
